Why Bear Geek? Bears are my spirit animal, and I've always been a geek, so why not Bear Geek? I never really knew my love for bears, except I always appreciated their gentle appearance and ferocious nature. As an avid hunter, I always knew I would never hunt one. When I attended Wood Badge, an advanced leadership academy for Scout Leaders, I was assigned to the Bear Patrol. From then on, I became a bear. Growing up, I held a passion for technology, and although my career didn't initially take me down that path, I found a way to incorporate technology into every aspect of my life.
